Titanium-zirconium-molybdenum (TZM)

Three letters – big impact. Compared to pure molybdenum, TMS is stronger and has a higher recrystallization temperature, along with higher creep strength.
Optimized specific properties are achieved with low alloying additions of titanium, zirconium, and traces of carbon. Compared to pure molybdenum, TZM is stronger and has a higher recrystallization temperature (by ≥ 250 °C) than pure molybdenum, along with higher creep strength (shape stability). Machining operations such as turning, milling, and drilling are greatly simplified. Application temperature range from 700 to 1400 °C.
